Did you know...... 

Have your child get creative by writing

Have your child write about their day or the weather outside. See if your child can take on the challenge of creating a rhyming poem or use the thesaurus to learn different words that mean the same thing. 

Start with Reading!  Have your child checkout a poetry book the next time they are in the library.  It will build their higher-level thinking skills and increase their vocabulary!  They may even surprise you and want to create a poem of their own!
