Announcements

  • Dear Hampton Families,

The state of Illinois has issued a report designating Hampton as an exemplary school. The designation places the school in the top ten percent of all schools in the state based on our performance for all of the state accountability indicators. The staff and administration are very proud of our designation as it is a validation of the hard work that the school board, students, staff, and parents put in daily to make Hampton School such an outstanding place for students to learn. Please click on the school dashboard under the about us section of our home page for additional information. Congratulations to everyone in our Hampton Hawk family for earning such a prestigious award!

  • Our mission is: "To provide every student the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, attitude, and skills necessary to be a successful high school student, a respectable citizen and a lifelong learner." Our school district offers a standard, comprehensive curriculum with specialized teachers instructing K-8 music, art and physical education. Hampton School District students perform above the state average on 11 of 12 measures of the state PARCC assessment. We have 227 students, 16 teachers and 15 support personnel. The Hampton School District may enroll students from outside the district, but we do not have open enrollment.

    Material pickup/Online info

A schedule has been developed which will allow students to come to the building to pick up their packets. This will allow for smaller numbers of students to retrieve everything while maintaining social distancing as suggested by the Center for Disease Control. Please adhere to the schedule as much as possible and report to the building at the time noted for students based on the first letter of your last name.

    Monday, April 13:

    A-D 8:00am – 9:00am

    E-J 9:00am – 10:00am

    K-P 10:00am – 11:00am

    Q-S 11:00am – Noon

    T-Z Noon – 1:00pm

In addition to the curriculum to be provided, our district will be offering grab and go sack lunches on certain days that students may pick up between 11:30 and 12:30 outside of the school. This week, students may pick up lunches on Tuesday and Thursday.  We will make an effort to have two days’ worth of lunches for students each pick up day. Please call the school if possible to tell us if you will be picking up lunches for your child.  This will allow us to have enough on hand for those that want them.
