Hello, Hampton community!
Please help to keep our students safe by remembering the following drop off and pick up procedures:
- If your student is a walker or you drop them off, please remember to drop them off no earlier than 8:00. Our supervision does not start until then and we do not want students unsupervised on the playground before school for safety reasons. If your student is a walker please be sure they are not arriving before this time as well.
- When you are dropping off and picking up. Please do not pass the car in front of you if they are stopped. While I'm sure you are wanting to get to work or on with your day please be patient to ensure the safety of our little ones who are often difficult to see getting in and out of cars.
- This summer we restriped the parking spots on the east side of our building. We did this to make the parking spots more visible. Please do not park over the front line of the parking spot. There is a walkway that our students use in front the parking spots and when they are blocked it forces our students to have to walk in the street. This is more of a problem in the winter. When we can't clear the snow off the walking path due to cars parked over the line our little Hawks have to walk in the street.
