Hello everyone! My name is Abbey Soper, and I am the new Junior High English Language Arts Teacher at Hampton. I am from a small town called New Lenox, Illinois, and I graduated from Augustana College. My teaching mantra is that students are capable of more than they think so while working with my students, I want to empower them to be creative and think outside the box. A fun fact about me: my favorite book is Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom, who is also my favorite author. I love how he teaches life lessons that resonate across every generation. I am thrilled to be part of this community and can't wait to get to know all the amazing kids I've heard so much about. Go Hawks!
